Holt is a city in Marshall County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 88 at the 2010 census.[1]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), all of it land.
As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 89 people, 36 households, and 25 families residing in the city. The population density was 88.2 people per square mile (34.0/km²). There were 41 housing units at an average density of 40.6 per square mile (15.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.75% White, 1.12% Native American and 1.12% Asian.
There were 36 households out of which 27.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.2% were married couples living together, and 27.8% were non-families. 22.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.47 and the average family size was 2.92.
In the city the population was spread out with 16.9% under the age of 18, 21.3% from 18 to 24, 33.7% from 25 to 44, 20.2% from 45 to 64, and 7.9% who were 65 years of age or older.
